National Pina Colada Day July 10th

Today is national Pina Colada day!
so you know you are gonna have to grab a bottle of Bacoo white rum and get ready to enjoy yourself
But first, Did you know ? 
The Caribe Hilton, one of the premier luxury hotels in the Puerto Rican capital of San Juan, claims the piña colada was first served up in its Beachcombers Bar in 1954 by bartender Ramon “Monchito” Marrero.
Made with the right ingredients, the classic Pina Colada drink can actually benefit your health. The cocktail has a traditional rum base but can be made without alcohol, so make a batch for the kids without the alcohol the pina colada is a versatile drink for any occasion.

The piña colada is a sweet cocktail made with rum, cream of coconut or coconut milk, and pineapple juice, usually served either blended or shaken with ice. It may be garnished with either a pineapple wedge, maraschino cherry, or both. There are two versions of the drink, both originating in Puerto Rico. 
Main Rum: Bacoo Rum White 
Ingredients: 1 oz (one part) Coconut cream
                    1 oz (one part) Bacoo White rum
                    3 oz (3 parts) Pineapple juice
Prep: Mix with crushed ice until smooth. Pour into chilled glass, garnish and serve.
Serve: Blended with ice (frozen style)
Garnish: Maraschino cherry, Pineapple slice
Glass: Poco Grande glass
